Brisbane set for big season of events

Right: Rydges' newly designed suite.

Brisbane is about to welcome a huge season of events, entertainment and celebrations, and so, fresh from completing a $30 million redesign and to ensure locals and visitors alike can share the fun, Rydges Hotel South Bank has announced two new packages – the Showstopper and the City Lights.

South Bank boasts the best location for a stay in Brisbane, no matter how long. Neighbour to the city’s GoMA, Cultural Centre, State Library and Queensland Performing Arts Complex; the Brisbane River and its walks; immersed in the heart of South Bank and its family of restaurants, bars and open spaces, and a bridge-walk away from the city centre, Rydges South Bank stands in the heart of the new Brisbane.

The $30million investment over the past three years has created new spaces and experiences – Bacchus Restaurant, Soleil Pool Bar, the Podium Level – as well as the redesign of every room and suite.

Rydges Hotel South Bank Showstopper Stay: For the upcoming season of Matilda and Kooza by Cirque du Soleil, as well as Singin’ in the Rain and the Brisbane Festival.
