Green Jam sessions return

The Queensland Performing Arts Centre’s (QPAC’s) free Green Jam will sound a little different in 2016 beginning on from Friday 4 March.

Running every Friday on QPAC’s Melbourne Street Green, from 5.30pm, the ever popular Green Jam Sessions will introduce new ‘flavours’ to welcome the weekend.

The genres will range from Pop, Surf Rock and B-Bop to Jazz, Classical hybrid and Indigenous. This line up will include both established and emerging artists showcasing their talents.

Green Jam’s food and beverage offering will also be changing in 2016. New bar snacks will satisfy those who want a light nibble and for those who want something more substantial, the QPAC chefs will be serving up a rotating menu of street food that will shine a light on the food from Queensland’s various cultural communities.

Located across the road from South Brisbane bus and train stations and next to the QPAC Café, Green Jam is an eclectic mix of people, music, food, and drinks…and the music is free!
