New Sydney luxury penthouses

A new batch of penthouses has raised the bar for luxury apartments in Sydney. A sign of strength in Sydney’s prestige property market, Australian developer Crown Group has revealed the details of its luxury penthouse apartments in Sydney’s CBD, North Sydney and Parramatta.
Crown Group last year sold all four level-27 penthouse apartments in its $250-million Sydney by Crown, which includes access to an open-air landscaped rooftop area.
Boasting bright, naturally-lit living spaces and lavish interior finishes, the luxury penthouses will lead the way with technology inclusions geared for entertainment such as multimedia touch-controlled home automation systems. A 150sqm master penthouse, the only apartment on the building’s top level, is set be retained as a serviced-apartment suite and will be bounded by a tranquil water feature.
Designed by Koichi Takada Architects, the building will feature heritage-inspired lower levels transitioning to a glass-and-steel tower, capped with more than a dozen steel arches. Sydney by Crown is expected to complete construction in 2017.
Crown Group Director of Project and Commercial Sales, Roy Marcellus said the Sydney At North Sydney’s Skye by Crown, five luxury penthouses positioned on level 20, will offer premium high-rise living combined with the sought-after benefits of a spacious backyard; with sprawling private rooftop gardens, lush greenery, outdoor seating, barbeque areas and expansive landscaped terraces. Penthouse gardens will include mature plants ensure gardens are verdant across the seasons, such as dragon, frangipani and olive trees. The 20-storey building, with 242 apartments, will include a top-floor gym, an infinity edge rooftop pool and views over the leafy Lower North Shore.
Crown Group has included a total of six penthouse apartments in the Allen Jack + Cottier-designed V by Crown in Parramatta. Slated for sales release in late 2015, the penthouse apartments will be positioned on the two upper levels of the 29-storey tower and feature either uninterrupted views of Parramatta’s skyline and parkland or Sydney CBD.
Crown Group Director of Project and Commercial Sales, Anthony Falas, said there is already strong interest in V by Crown’s penthouse apartment collection. “The penthouses at V by Crown will be arguably Parramatta’s most outstanding apartments showcasing all the benefits of luxury living in Sydney’s second CBD,” he said.
Coined Parramatta’s ‘Vertical Village’ by local media, the 590-apartment building features a pool, gym, sauna, conference facilities, music room, theatrette, a library and a ground level retail and restaurant precinct.
“These apartments will raise the bar for luxury living in Western Sydney,” said Mr Falas.
All of Crown Group’s penthouse apartments across its locations include car spaces and storage. The final penthouse apartment at Skye by Crown sold last week. Six penthouse apartments at V by Crown in Parramatta will be released to market in 2015.
