Cruise comedy from Villanova Players
Villanova Players Theatre Company welcomes patrons aboard the luxury transatlantic liner, the SS Italian Castle for its current production Rough Crossing by Tom Stoppard and directed by Fiona Kennedy and Jane Sizer.
With only 4 days until its Broadway opening, successful playwrights Sandor and Alex are struggling to finish writing their new musical comedy – The Cruise of the Dodo.
Chaos reigns as the egocentric cast rehearse. From the suicidal French composer Adam Adam and his love for the leading lady, to the devious intentions of the leading man, Ivor Fish and the hindrance of the unorthodox cabin steward, Dvornichek.
The chaos moves to calamity when the ship hits rough weather in the middle of rehearsals.
The show features dances, original music by Andre Previn and a special guest appearance by the glamorous Eastern European beauty, Natasha Navratilova.
