Tribute to Patsy Kline

Right: Courtney Conway as Patsy Cline

Always... Patsy Cline is more than a tribute to the legendary country singer who died tragically at age 30 in a plane crash. The show is based on a true story about Cline’s endearing friendship with Louise Seger, a devoted fan from Houston, who befriended the star in a Texas honky-tonk and continued a correspondence with Patsy until her death. The musical play, complete with down home country humour, includes 27 of Patsy’s hits such as Crazy, I Fall to Pieces, Sweet Dreams and Walking After Midnight.

Always...Patsy Cline has enjoyed great success all over the United States and has been one of the most produced musicals in America according to American Theatre Magazine. This new production directed by AFI award winning Denny Lawrence stars Australian Country Music singer Courtney Conway as Patsy Cline and popular stage star Mandi Lodge. Musical Director Ross Sermons who has performed with greats such as Steve Winwood, features as guitarist in the on-stage four piece band - The Bobacious Bobcats Band.
