Muses Trio booked for Sydney Fringe Festival

Brisbane’s Muses Trio is set to give an evening of music composed by women, performed by women at the Sydney Fringe Festival on September 15-17 at 7 pm. It will be performed in the Sound Lounge at the Seymour Centre, corner of City Road and Cleveland Street, Chippendale.

Tickets ($25-$35) are now on sale at sydneyfringe,com following sell-out shows at Brisbane’s Boggo Road Gaol in the Anywhere Festival earlier this year.

The performance is drawn from the debut CD, Spirit of the Maiden, and features highlights of three successful seasons of chamber music events, including world premieres by Louise Denson (Australia), Cécile Elton (Australia), alongside works by audience favourites Elena Kats-Chernin (Australia), Jennifer Higdon (USA), Judith Bingham (UK) and gems by Amy Beach and Nadia Boulanger.
