The details of Waterfall by Crown Group, a project in Sydney’s Green Square featuring Australia’s largest man-made waterfall are now on view.
Images and computer-generated animation of the waterfall were released today, along with renderings and video showing the collection of apartments, amenities and onsite retail.
“This development is something unique and inspired by the power of nature,” said Crown Group Chairman and CEO, Iwan Sunito. “With this design, we are breaking with tradition. The green spaces and natural elements bring this to a whole new level and creates a luxurious, balanced environment for residents to relax and recharge.”
Located at 18 O’Dea Avenue Waterloo and totalling 331 residences, Waterfall by Crown Group is designed by award-winning architects SJB, and features seven-storey waterfall cascading down one of the development’s four elemental buildings.
Crown Group was recently awarded Australian Best Outdoor Project by HIA-CSR Australia for its 653-apartment development Top Ryde City Living in Ryde.
Residents will experience a luxuriously green retreat that comprises three seven-storey buildings and a 20-storey sculptural tower overlooking tropical landscaping and water gardens. Public art is a key element of Waterfall: Mika Utzon Popov, grandson of Sydney Opera House architect Jorn Utzon, is creating a large-scale artwork on selected exterior walls.
Waterfall by Crown living spaces include studios, one, two and three-bedroom apartments and, at the higher scale, courtyard apartments and double-storey upper penthouses. The interiors offer fresh, natural modern luxury, utilizing stone, timber and subtle hues.
Natural luxury resonates through the communal spaces as well, including tranquil, ground-level water gardens, a recreation deck, an Infinity rooftop pool with a sky garden and terrace, and a secluded bamboo-covered walkway.
