Faulty Towers The Dining Experience charity performance
Brisbane’s Interactive Theatre International, the company behind the hit show Faulty Towers The Dining Experience, has named Little Lives as its Australia charity partner for 2017.
The fundraising highlight is a charity performance on Saturday 11 March at Brisbane Golf Club, supplemented by collections at more than 80 performances during Fringe World Perth and Adelaide Fringe earlier in the year.
Faulty Towers The Dining Experience is an international immersive show, with lashings of laughter, huge spoonfuls of spontaneity and plenty of participation. It is ideal for comedy fans, theatre fanatics and anyone who fancies going out for a dinner they will never forget.
Seventy per cent of this internationally acclaimed show is improvised, making no two performances ever the same.
All profits of this charity night performance will go directly to the Little Lives Australia charity. ITI’s Company and Artistic Director Alison Pollard-Mansergh says: “Little Lives Australia has been selected because of its very special dedication to funding medical equipment for children with special health needs. These are the people who are giving a voice to children who do not have one; their work is so important.”

Faulty Towers The Dining Experience was born in Brisbane in 1997 and now has 10 teams of cast touring the world virtually non-stop. All three actors at this charity event, Paul O’Neil (Basil), Karen Hamilton (Sybil) and Andrew Foreman (Manuel) have performed in Faulty Towers The Dining Experience around the world.
As well as touring Australia, it visits around 20 countries a year. 2017 highlights include Adelaide Fringe Festival, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Fringe World Perth, Edinburgh Fringe, and tours of Europe, Scandinavia, the middle east and Singapore.
