Those who have seen it all can now experience Dubai’s first Thai long-tail boat, with
trips from Anantara Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa on the Palm Jumeirah to Dubai Marina and back.
The authentic vessel, shipped from Thailand, will make several trips daily from the beach resort’s private jetty, through the bottom of the Palm Jumeirah and over to Dubai Marina on the city’s mainland. The colourful long-tail boat, known as a ‘Ruea Hang Yao’ in Thai, can transport up to 10 people per trip. It is available to both in-house and external guests.
Jean-Francois Laurent, General Manager at Anantara Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa, said: “At Anantara we want each of our guests to leave with unique stories to tell back home. The story of the boat is a tale in itself, having made the long journey from the land of smiles. Embarking on a picturesque trip sailing through one of the most iconic areas of Dubai, aboard an authentic Thai long-tail boat is a story to share with all your friends and family. We’re really looking forward to welcoming more of our guests onboard, for what we consider to be an experience of a lifetime.”
