John Butler hits the road again

Apart from one concert on a revolving festival stage in WA last year and a benefit concert in his home state’s South-West last week, it has been a year of being stuck inside, stuck in WA and tucked away from life on the road for John Butler.. But now Australia’s highest selling independent artist of all time has officially returned to the live circuit, with a number of shows taking place around the country. While February saw the multi-ARIA award winner land in the Apple Isle for two sold out shows in Launceston, March will see John Butler return to Toowoomba for the first time in six years, for a one-off performance at the Empire Theatre. John will also return to the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre in Bundaberg; having previously only performed in Bundaberg as The John Butler Trio, this will be the first time fans will have the opportunity to see John perform solo versions of his extensive back catalogue. The new shows come off the back of several previously announced dates, including John Butler’s stint at the SummerSalt Festival in Geraldton, Hillarys, Wollongong, Bella Vista and Darwin, and his upcoming performance at BluesFest in Byron Bay this April. In this new live show, John will be sharing stories from the road and playing songs from his vast catalogue which spans almost a quarter of a century! Empire Theatre - Toowoomba - Qld Saturday 13 March, 2021 Moncrieff Entertainment Centre - Bundaberg - Qld Sunday 14 March, 2021. Bookings: www.johnbutlertrio.com
