Savoyards Musical Comedy Society’s next production is I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change (A Musical Revue) at The Star Theatre, Manly, Queensland, 17 – 25 March.

I Love You, You’re Perfect Now Change, is the musical celebration of the mating game, taking on the truths and myths behind that contemporary conundrum know as 'the relationship.' It explores the journey from dating and waiting, to love and marriage and revealing the agonies and triumphs of in-laws and newborns, trips in the family car and pick-up techniques of the geriatric set.

This revue pays tribute to those who have loved and lost, to those who have fallen on their face at the portal of romance, to those who have dared to ask, 'Say, what are you doing Saturday night?'

Featuring a cast of eight Brisbane performers, a live band, an all female directorial team, and a group of passionate young production technicians, this production ticks many boxes when it comes to providing creative opportunities in Brisbane.

“It’s exciting to be part of a project that allows us to push our artistic boundaries”, said company President, David Longton. “We wanted to expand the musicals we offer to also include works that are more accessible to a younger generation of audience and performers. Taking advantage of the new Star Theatre in Manly, allowed us to produce contemporary theatre pieces which require a more intimate setting.”

Tickets range from $25 - $37 and are available online at www.savoyards.com.au

This production has adult themes and language.
